Backstage tours at Sydney Theatre Company reveal fascinating insights into all aspects of the production process, from programming and design presentations, to set, scenic art, props and costume creation. 

Every Sydney Theatre Company department is housed under one roof at Wharf 4/5. The behind-the-scenes tour explores the journey of a play from page to stage at the recently refurbished home of Australia’s largest theatre company.

During this interactive experience, production staff will reveal some of the magic involved in mounting a play and you’ll witness the creative energy required to get a text to the stage.

Round out the tour with a coffee or drink and the iconic harbour views at Theatre Bar at The End of The Wharf.
